STEPHANIE HALLETT
WRITER & EDITOR
Hi! I'm Stephanie, a Canadian journalist living in Philadelphia. I've been living and working in the US for more than a decade, reporting on everything from the FBI's notorious definition of rape to the joy of a Las Vegas wedding. I'm currently the deputy editor of Special Projects at Insider.
My first book, "Healing with Red Light Therapy: How Red and Near-Infrared Light Can Manage Pain, Combat Aging, and Transform Your Health," is available everywhere books are sold.

INSIDER
DEPUTY EDITOR,
SPECIAL PROJECTS
I'm the deputy editor of Special Projects at Insider and was previously a senior editor on Personal Finance Insider. The Special Projects team produces ambitious series and packages that touch every desk in the newsroom.
2016 to 2019
HELLOGIGGLES
SENIOR LIFESTYLE EDITOR
I oversaw the lifestyle vertical at HelloGiggles and developed several of the site's signature series, including: Feminist Passport, a monthly travel column; I Rise, a mini-series centered on Black women's mental health; She's Running, a series of profiles on progressive women in Congress, and Is This Normal?, a health and relationships advice column.
2014 to 2016
MS. MAGAZINE
DIGITAL EDITOR & RESEARCH EDITOR
I edited the Ms. Blog, managed a rigorous fact-checking program, wrote regularly, and managed the Ms. social media accounts. My reporting helped get the FBI to change its definition of rape and end a problematic ad campaign that shamed victims of sexual harassment.
2011 to 2013
HUFFPOST
EDITOR
I co-launched HuffPost's Weddings vertical and rose from associate to vertical editor in my time on staff. I managed the day-to-day of the site and traveled to New York City annually to cover bridal fashion week.
